This is a really good one-day event in a very nice rustic setting.
We have always had very large, very interested crowds of the public and most of our day is taken with individual and small-group interpretation. I always leave this event feeling I have been able to teach something about my favorite historic period.
You may come on Saturday and tent over, but most folks drive in for the day.
Regardless of the fact that the NWD is compensated for this show, I would come even if we were not, it's that enjoyable. I would, however, recommend you stay away from this event if you do not enjoy talking about the Revolution, and sharing what you know with others.
