Point Bus Trip
When; October 16 to 19, 2008
Cost; $65.00 per seat
The Gloucester Point, Virginia, event, a number of years in the planning, is shaping up to be the largest event of 2008. The NW. Department is chartering a bus to this event. We’ve had a number of very successful and enjoyable bus trips in the past years, and this one will be no exception. As always, I ask that you plan to pack lightly, taking not all that you have, but only what you need. We need to conserve cargo space since we will be hauling tents and sleeping gear, as well as food for several days.
Here is the tentative itinerary;
9:00 PM Thursday evening (16 October) –depart the Canton, Ohio area. Site to be Determined
11:00 PM Thursday night (16 October)- pick up more passengers in Marrietta, Ohio. Site to be determined
Friday morning –stop for breakfast, then continue on to Gloucester Point.
Sunday Afternoon – Immediately following the end of the event’s activities, we’ll load and board the bus.
Sunday Evening – Stop for supper
Late Sunday/early Monday arrive back at our cars in Ohio
The cost for this trip will be $65.00 per seat, a real bargain. The only way to make a reservation is to send me a check for the amount, made out to Bob Cairns. Since I will wait till October to cash these checks, please post-date them to at least 1 May 2008, or they will be “stale”, and I won’t be able to use them. Please only reserve a seat (or seats) if you are sure you are going. There will be special mailing to everyone riding the bus, sometime in September. If you have questions, please contact me.
